He met his wife, Donna, while doing undergraduate studies at Canadian Bible College in Saskatchewan. Their children, Élysa and Clayton, are young adults.
Interwoven with a diverse pastoral ministry, he completed a M.Div. at Alliance Theological Seminary in Nyack, New York, and a Th.M. in Christian Spirituality through the University of Toronto.
David plays a mean game of racquetball and likes to read! His heart and mind are on fire for God and for people – to know God and to make him known, to make disciples and reach the unreached.
As an adjunct professor at Crown College in St. Bonifacius, he teaches several online classes.
In 2005, Chosen Books (a division of Baker Publishing Group) published his book How Can I Ask God for Physical Healing? A Biblical Guide. He also has about 30 articles published and is currently co-authoring a book potentially entitled Brother Lawrence for Every Day: A 60-Day Spiritual Companion to The Practice of the Presence of God.
