Baseball Diamond

To help us accomplish our vision of producing Christians who are balanced and complete, we use the model of a baseball diamond. Balanced spiritual growth happens when we mature in all five areas (as identified on the baseball diamond below) in order of the bases. These five areas not only describe the purposes of our church, but also the purposes of every individual Christian.
To help growth in all these areas, we are developing Core Classes designed to help every believer achieve the vision of balanced spiritual growth.

Next Steps

If you're ready to take your next step at Rose Hill Church, our Core Classes are the perfect places to start. We offer these one-day classes at various times throughout the year, and typically meet on a Sunday afternoon for about three hours. Included are all your class materials and a tasty meal. Childcare is not available. Every class ends with a covenant that leads you closer to spiritual maturity. The acronym CLASS stands for "Christian Life and Service Seminars."

First Base -Class 101 Discovering Church Membership

This class offers a basic introduction to the Christian faith and Rose Hill's unique strategy. Learn about our Vision and Core Values, explore the structure of the church, and discover the true meaning of membership.

Second Base-Class 201 Discovering Spiritual Maturity

This introduction to growing in Christ covers topics including Bible study, prayer, connecting in small groups, tithing, and other basic disciplines of the Christian life.
Prerequisite: Class 101.

Third Base-Class 301 Discovering My SHAPE for Ministry

Get plugged into a ministry in this class by discovering your spiritual gifts, heart, abilities, personality, and experiences mean to the way you serve. This class includes an intro to the complete list of ministry opportunities available at Rose Hill.
Prerequisite: Classes 101 and 201.

Fourth Base -Class 401 Discovering My Life Mission

This class is some time from being offered. Until then, please check with one of our pastors who would be glad to share several resources to help you share your faith with those around you or give you information on our missionaries who are taking the Gospel
around the world.

		Five Purposes

	Our purpose at Rose Hill Alliance Church is to bring people to Jesus and into membership in his family, build them up into maturity, train them for ministry, send them out in mission, in order to magnify God. As a purpose-driven church, we have a great commitment to the Great Commandment and the Great Commission (Matthew 22:35-40 and Matthew 28: 18-20)! We are committed to fulfilling all five purposes Christ ordained for his church to accomplish: · To celebrate God's presence in worship · To educate God's people through discipleship · To communicate God's Word through evangelism · To incorporate God's family through fellowship · To demonstrate God's love through ministry We want to grow stronger through worship, deeper through discipleship, larger through evangelism, warmer through fellowship, and broader through ministry.
