| Hi, I'm Rev. David Smith! I'm known as Pastor Dave at Rose Hill Alliance Church in Roseville, Minnesota. I served as a Christian and Missionary Alliance pastor for seventeen years in New York State and Ontario, Canada, before coming to Rose Hill as Senior Pastor in August 2000. | ||||||

I put Jesus Christ as Lord of my life when I was eighteen. The following year I served on a short-term missions trip for ten months in the Philippines with World Vision. After that I sensed God calling me into full-time ministry. I met my wife, Donna, while doing undergraduate studies at Canadian Bible College in Saskatchewan. Our children, Elysa and Clayton, are college students. Interwoven with a diverse pastoral ministry, I completed a M.Div. at Alliance Theological Seminary in Nyack, New York, and a Th.M. in Christian Spirituality through the University of Toronto. I play a mean game of racquetball and I like to read! I have about 2500 books in my personal library, and I've had several articles published. My heart and mind are on fire for God and for people - to know God and to make him known, to make disciples and reach the unreached. |
